Product Overview
Yinuo New Material Technology (Heze) Co., Ltd. offers a high-performance concentrated release agent specifically formulated for PU cold cure high-resilience foam applications. Developed with advanced polymer compounding technology, our release agent delivers exceptional demolding performance, excellent surface finish quality, and outstanding production efficiency for polyurethane resilient products.
Designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern PU foam molding operations, our release agent effectively prevents adhesion between the polyurethane foam and the mold surface, ensures smooth part ejection, and significantly extends mold service life.
Key Features & Benefits
Superior Demolding Performance
Our advanced formulation provides stable and reliable demolding performance, capable of quickly forming a uniform isolation film on the mold surface. This ensures smooth product release, no mold accumulation, and reduced mold fouling. The release agent is specially engineered for PU high-resilience soft foams and is particularly suitable for cold curing foams with a temperature range of 30–55°C.
Excellent Surface Quality
Products demolded with our release agent feature a delicate, smooth, and blemish-free surface-. The ultra-thin breathable isolation film does not block bubble holes and enables convenient secondary processing. Whether for automotive cushions, headrests, or furniture foam, our release agent ensures premium surface appearance.
High Solid Content – Cost-Effective Concentrated Formulation
As a concentrated product with high solid content, our release agent offers excellent dilution ratios. It can be diluted with solvent at ratios tailored to specific production conditions, significantly reducing consumption costs while maintaining superior demolding performance. The high efficiency allows for minimal application quantities per cycle, further lowering overall production expenses.
Clean Demolding – Minimal Residue & Mold Build-up
Our release agent leaves extremely slight accumulation on the mold surface, effectively reducing the frequency of mold cleaning. This prevents residual release agent from affecting subsequent product processing and surface appearance, ensuring consistent quality throughout extended production runs.
Low Odor & Operator Safety
Our release agent features low odor or is completely odorless, creating a more pleasant working environment. It does not contain harmful solvents or heavy metals such as alkylphenols, amines, plasticizers, mercury, cadmium, or lead. The amount of harmful gas evaporation during use is extremely low, meeting the requirements of environmental protection production and ensuring the health and safety of operators.
Strong Adaptability
Our release agent delivers excellent demolding effects at medium and low temperatures. While particularly suitable for cold curing foams at 30–55°C, it is applicable to working conditions ranging from 30°C to 180°C, offering versatility across diverse production environments.
Convenient Operation
Supports multiple application methods including spraying, brushing, and wiping, Compatible with various mold types and production processes, our release agent integrates seamlessly into your existing workflow. For spray applications, it is recommended to use a small-bore spray gun with air pressure greater than 0.3Mpa for optimal efficiency.
Applications
Our PU cold cure high-resilience concentrated release agent is widely used in the production of polyurethane resilient products across various industries, including:
-
Automotive seats, cushions, and headrests
-
Sofas and mattresses
-
Flexible PU toys
-
PU flexible padding foam
-
Elastomers and other PU molded products
It is particularly suitable for cold curing foam applications with mold temperatures ranging from 30°C to 55°C.
Technical Specifications
Usage Instructions
-
Preparation: Before use, thoroughly clean the mold with a dedicated mold cleaning agent to remove old release agents and dirt. Wipe clean with a clean cotton cloth and ensure the mold surface is dry and clean.
-
Dilution: This product is a high-concentration release agent solution. Before use, it needs to be diluted with solvent at a 1:1 ratio, mixed evenly, and then further diluted as needed. Recommended dilution ratios are typically 1:10 to 1:15 with appropriate solvents such as naphtha, n-hexane, or gasoline. The optimal mixing ratio should be determined through practical trials based on your specific production conditions and equipment.
-
Application: After dilution, apply evenly onto the mold surface using spraying, brushing, or wiping methods to form a uniform film.
-
Spraying: Use airless or air-assisted spraying equipment (recommended small-bore spray gun). Spray from a distance of 10–25 cm from the mold, paying special attention to complex areas.
-
Brushing: Dip a clean brush in the release agent and gently wipe in the same direction, following the texture of the mold.
-
Wiping: Dip a clean cotton cloth in the release agent and wipe evenly to ensure a thin and uniform coating. Remove excess with a dry cloth.
-
Post-maintenance: After each demolding, evenly reapply the release agent on the mold surface. For first-time use, it is recommended to spray evenly multiple times to establish a proper release film.
-
Important: The diluted release agent should be prepared immediately for use and stored in a sealed container in a cool, dry place. Avoid prolonged exposure. The diluent should not be poured back into the original concentrated solution.
